The Kehmsarazan Empire is a faction in Umora.[1] The people and places under its political, economic, and/or cultural control are generally referred to simply as the Empire.
The Empire is ruled by the Saraz Imperium, also called the crown or the imperium.[2] Wizarding is common in the Empire, and there are several factions of wizards under Imperial control.[2]
The Empire is currently at war with two other factions: the Dominion of Rhuv and the Protectorate of Gaothmai.[3][4]
The Empire's geographical and/or cultural center is located in an area called Kehmsaraza.[5] To the west is a sizable ocean that can take days to cross. Other locations within the empire include:
- The Irulian Desert (with the Citadel's fortress at its heart).[5]
- Sarazmir, the imperial capitol city in Kehmsaraza. [6]
- A port city called Carrow, directly northeast of Joras.[7]
The island of Akham is on the far western edge of the Empire, across a body of water from Kehmsaraza.[5][8] Its imperial center is the city of Port Talon.[9]
